About Foster Care
We recruit;
train and support
families who desire
to open their home
to children and
youth who family is
unable or unwilling
to care for them and
provide them with
someone whom to turn
when they have no
one else.
While foster
care is a temporary
for children who
have been abused,
abandoned or
neglected, our
foster care program
encourages a safe,
stable and nurturing
alternative family
environment. The
best permanent
outcome for everyone
is reached through
the collaboration of
all involved
following a specific
treatment plan for
each foster child
and their families.
We serve
children and youth
ages 0-17 that have
been placed in the
care of the Texas
Department of Family
and Protective
Services (TDFPS).
Typically, these are
youngsters who are
experiencing a
variety of social,
emotional and
behavioral
difficulties because
of abuse or neglect.
With both
training and support
our foster parents
are equipped to help
the children succeed
by being both
teacher and
caregiver. To
